NOA Record is an ingest system for three parallel analog stereo input
streams consisting of the NOA Record software, the N6071 Workstation,
and the N6000A hardware, including high-quality A/D converters and
replayer communication modules.
NOA Record offers a clearly structured user interface for multiple
simultaneous sources. The relevant recording and playback parameters of
all stations are displayed on a single screen which is divided into
section panels, thereby providing the user with an overview of the most
important functions at a single glance. Quality assessment can be done
directly in the capturing software or within the workflow system at a
later stage.
One section shows the current activity of the algorithmic recognition
while the marker list shows recognised quality events and displays all
cyclic events in a graphical overview. The recording job can be marked
as „critical” in the event of measurable parameters straying beyond the
user-defined thresholds. Suggestions are entered into a comment field,
which is stored together with the recording and can be viewed either
from within the Job Database/mediARC or Record Software.
High Precision control tools at a glance
The input of the active station is monitored automatically. Users can
activate more than one solo button to hear a mix of the selected
stations. The upper part of the control section displays all relevant
functions of the remote controlled playback machine and allows machine
operation directly from the desktop. A highly accurate time display
shows the actual playback and recording positions, while precision
programme peak meters monitor the signal level.
